Tell us a bit about your business.
What inspired us to start our business was the lack of quality financing solutions within the industries we serve. Most people who apply for a business loan either don’t get approved or they end up getting multiple credit inquires reflected on their credit profiles, along with nonstop harassing phone calls from other companies they’ve never heard of.
We’re the intermediary agent between a borrower and lender that brings both parties together so borrowers can obtain the funds needed to start or further expand their businesses. We have a network of lenders that serve a variety of industries and credit criteria with various ways to structure their financing options such as: equipment loans, leases, terminal rental adjustment clause (TRAC) leases, equipment finance agreements (EFA), $1 buyouts and working capital loans. Our job is to outline the borrowers’ business goals to connect them to the appropriate funding source that fits their business and financial needs.
What sets us apart from our competitors is that our clients will always deal with a real person on the other end. Our services are not self-automated and we don’t utilize switch-and-bait advertisement techniques to gain business. We’ve set up our process where all borrowers are assigned to their own experienced financing specialist who will work closely with them until the deal is funded and complete. We don’t charge any upfront fees to begin and we will not compromise their credit with multiple inquiries.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
Truckers Post has come a long way and we’re becoming better as the years go by. Our team has come up with creative solutions to deliver our services more efficiently, and in 2017 we familiarized ourselves with many online tools that are making our business smarter. We have a better understanding of the power in social networking and we’ve built important relationships with other businesses to further expand our horizons. We hope to strengthen our relationships and expand our sales team by integrating more services that we all (including our clients) will benefit from.
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
We utilize many of Google’s apps such as: Analytics, Google+, Drive, Allo, Docs, Forms, etc. Google is a powerful tool with a broad range of products that help our business remain organized and in tune with our clients. Not to mention, most of their services are FREE.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
Networking is key to driving any business to success. In order to solidify your brand, it is important to connect with as many people and businesses as you can.
