Tell us a bit about your business.
We provide promotional marketing services for (generally) U.K. brands and service companies. We provide them with tools to incentivize purchases or reward loyalty in the form of targeted discount partners or appealing prizes and premiums. We differentiate ourselves by primarily offering a bespoke service where individual discount partners are recruited to-order.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
Business has turned a corner after a few challenging years. This could be attributed to improved SEO and continuing to do the right things, as well as returning customers. And—like any pursuit in life—a bit of luck, too.
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
Mailchimp, SignNow, QuickBooks, G-Suite, Wix and Hootsuite. These powerful tools allow us to manage the boring admin stuff easily—without taking up too much time—while allowing us to be more productive in areas that generate profit.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
Running your own business is tough and only the best survive. You never stop learning and complacency is the biggest threat to that survival.
