Tell us a bit about your business.
We were inspired by a desire to help organizations solve complex project management issues by bringing high-quality, low-cost products and services to market that actually solve consumer problems.
We are an agile organization that serves multiple industries by providing coaching, training, mentoring and the facilitation of organizational change at every level of your organization. We service professionals in many fields, including: technology, finance, military, government, retail, entertainment, insurance, banking, education and many more.
Our services all come with a money-back guarantee, in essence making them 100% free! We have never been asked to give a refund yet and we hope to see that tradition continue.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
We officially began conducting business as AgileDad back in 2012. We have doubled in size nearly every year we have been in existence. We attribute that to our wealth of coaching experience that we leverage to help organizations not trip on the same stumbling blocks other organizations have faced.
We also approach our work with a NOT one-size-fits-all model. Each organization has their own internal culture and adoption of agile. People are unique and every team needs detailed attention to their processes in order to be successful.
In a year from now, we will once again double in size and be one of the top three providers of agile services in the world!
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
While we do not feel it is fair to identify any single tool as a silver bullet solution—many are our direct customers—what we can share is that we have internally leveraged Jira, Slack, MailChimp, Google AdWords and many other solutions to help us grow as a company.
Following the AgileDad 12 step program of success has been the best tool to help us align with each of our customers.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
Start SLOW! Do not try to grow too quickly. Make certain you are charging what your time is worth. Do not let large companies walk all over you. Always present yourself as professional and be honest in ALL of your dealings.
