Tell us a bit about your business.
I was inspired to get out of the rat race and make my own destiny. I enjoy helping businesses grow and I’m good at accounting. I come from a business background, so I approach accounting from a business perspective with an outside-the-box approach. We also offer cryptocurrency accounting.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
My business has grown to the point that I’ve had to hire two part-time employees. And since adding cryptocurrency accounting, we are getting a lot of organic, new leads for services. We plan to grow to over $100,000 by January 2019.
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
We use QuickBooks Online, TSheets, Accelo, Acuity Scheduling and TeamWork. And, I’m working on my master’s in accounting.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
Don’t be afraid to ask for help. Find a niche and use your warm market. Most importantly, don’t give up when things get rough—they will turn around.
