Tell us a bit about your business.
I live to inspire through business and technology innovation.
Research shows that the majority of small businesses fail during the first three years of operation. Two of the reasons cited from the top five, apart from marketing, funding and business management, are business and strategic planning; and, lack of technological understanding. We are an innovative management consulting company specializing in business and digital transformation strategy. Our vision is to reimagine old business models and invent new ones through digital technology innovation. Enabling entrepreneurs, small businesses and corporations to succeed in the digital era.
We are a catalyst to solving business and social challenges using technology innovation and bridging the digital gap. We are customer oriented and strive to provide exceptional delivery.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
Our business is fairly new. We started operating in July 2017. Our first six months were coupled with aggressive marketing on social media and using our blog to inspire customers. We are self-funded and using lean startup methodologies to grow our consulting business.
We believe we have unlimited potential and plan to grow our business from strength to strength. In the process, we provide employment to young, intelligent and energetic people. One of our strategic pillars is global presence and we plan to expand using digital technologies and strategic partnerships—creating exceptional customer experiences across the globe.
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
Our favorite resources are people and growing critical skills through continuous learning. And, in the process, helping our clients succeed. Our values comprise of innovation and technology. These guide how we conduct business.
Using the Wix platform and social media made a huge improvement in our marketing campaign. We managed to get new business and a few clients—humble beginnings.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
If you have a business idea, just get started. “The journey of a thousand miles begins with one step,” said Lao Tzu.
If we were to summarize 2018 for us in one word it would be “execute.” Or, simply put, “ignite” your business idea.
