Tell us a bit about your business.
ASL is a startup BPO firm that I founded while working in the outsourcing industry. A large part of our operation is in the real estate and property preservation industries in the U.S., where we provide back-end office support and data entry services. Recently, however, we have also expanded our services to SEO and digital marketing.
One of the ways that we differentiate ourselves is that I try to provide a lot of value-added services that are outside of the normal scope of our services to help our clients. Especially those who are in real estate and property preservation.
How has your business progressed recently and what do you attribute that to? Where do you see your business in one year?
One of the biggest achievements for us last year was landing a contract with Telamon Business Solutions. Apart from that, we also made contracts with two asset management companies. Our goal here is to provide clients with cost-effective back-end solutions that can help them grow their businesses while creating jobs here in our country as well.
What are your favorite tools or resources that help you do business smarter, and how have they made a difference?
Moz.com, Google Analytics and Google Search Console help me in understanding what my prospective clients are looking for and better plan my marketing strategy.
What advice would you offer to businesses like yours just starting up?
For BPO startups, I would say build a service product first that helps your customer—in a measurable way—grow their business. This creates a need for them to retain your services and will help your company grow.
