Preparing for summer business

It’s the first official week of summer and the university students are home on summer break. Parents are shuttling children to summer camps. Office workers are retreating to office air conditioning and taking Fridays off to flock to the beach.

What does this mean for your business? Think about these segments, could you use help from college students who are without an internship for the summer? Could you market your services in an inevitable upcoming heat wave?

Take advantage of the summer to try some of the things you’ve been putting off. Maybe you partner with the local ice cream shop to give mutual discounts to customers, or sell package deals for summer barbecues & pool parties. Use the cycle of the school calendar to engage recent graduates, schoolchildren, teachers, and parents.
