Get your money's worth on Facebook advertising

Facebook advertising might not be in your budget today, you might think you need hundreds or even thousands of dollars to get started. You can start with $20! In fact, you could start with $1.

If you’re not sure where to start, a great way to get going is to use an existing list of customers to find similar potential customers. You can upload a list of names, with emails or phone numbers, or even zip codes and other city data. Once you have this list, creating a Lookalike Audience is easy.

When you set up ads, you’ll select this audience as a Lookalike, which will show your ads to people who are similar in demographics to your existing customers (they can also be friends of, or connected to, your customers).

Starting with an audience you know your product or service is relevant to will give you confidence and a higher probability of success. You can start with some of your existing social media posts that have been popular to structure your first few ads. This also makes it easier to get started.
